Raoul Wood, CTO

Mr. Wood’s engineering design experience spans over 40 years. During this timeframe he was head of power engineering at Chevron Energy Solutions, engineering manager of one of the largest electric utilities in the US (Southern California Edison) and has won many industry awards including EPA project of the year and the Honeywell Engineering Excellence Award.

Mr. Wood’s career also includes engineering leadership roles at such prominent US companies as Honeywell, Xerox, Arco, Hughes Oil and Tools and NASA. Mr. Wood has led the engineering and design of hundreds of energy projects including 3.7 GW of solar, geothermal, waste to energy, biomass and natural gas power plants. Mr. Wood has advised some of the world’s largest company’s in regards to renewable energy projects including GE, Goldman Sachs and most of the world’s largest solar companies.

Mr. Wood holds PhDs in electrical and aerospace engineering from CalTech and Stanford Universities.
