Sunfolio reviews property portfolios of owners of portfolios of affordable multifamily properties in the U.S. We utilize incentives which are specific to affordable housing properties which dramatically reduce or eliminate electricity bills at our customer properties.

Our state of the art technology and databases allow us to provide these services with at no cost with very little time needed from management. 

• Portfolio analysis: Sunfolio reviews the properties in your portfolios and identifies properties located in markets where electricity costs are high and/or there are special incentives specific to solar implementation on affordable properties.
• Our satellite design tools allow us to show you the optimal placement of solar modules at your site to achieve the greatest energy savings.
• Solar installed on car canopies typically costs 50% more than solar placed on roofs. Sunfolio has a procurement arrangement with one of the country’s leading car canopy manufacturers which allows us to provide custom-covered parking solutions (with solar panels attached) at the same cost of rooftop solar allowing our customers and their tenants to enjoy free covered parking in addition to the savings achieved from solar.
• Most commercial solar companies provide solar to their customers through PPA’s (power purchase agreements). Many of these companies simply review the customer’s utility bills and price the power at a 10-20% savings to the customer. Sunfolio’s financial tools allow our customers to see the benefits of this approach (typically with greater savings) and we also show you the benefits associated with owning the solar improvements yourself which can generally provide greater economic benefits and since the solar “goes with the property” eliminates the headaches associated with PPA’s and property transfers. Since Sunfolio typically utilizes grants and special incentives the ownership approach can also provide the added benefit of adding value to your company’s balance sheet.
